The LK 551 HydroKit Solar is a pre-assembled hydraulic kit consisting of thermostatic valves , designed for the management and optimisation of domestic hot water production in solar thermal systems.
Compact and ready to use, it integrates all mixing, diversion and safety functions in a single module, ensuring comfort, energy efficiency and system protection.
What it is and what it is used for
HydroKit Solar is a combination of thermostatic valves designed for systems with two heat sources (e.g. solar + boiler).
Its task is:
- keep the water temperature constant
- automatically manage the transition between solar source and integration
- optimize the use of solar energy
Designed specifically for solar thermal ACS systems
How it works
The system integrates:
- ✔ thermostatic mixing valve (35–65°C)
- ✔ thermostatic diverter valve (42–52°C)
- ✔ anti-scald function
In practice:
- if the solar water is already hot → it is sent directly to the user
- if it is not sufficient → it is diverted towards the integrative source
✔ Temperature stability ±3°C
